Hatred seems to be in the news a lot these days and the author deals with not only hatred, but being different and finding that we are all beautiful. This is a great story for kids and a special reminder for adults that yes, we are different but that is what makes us special. I have read many of this authors books and this one is a bit different in the illustrations but I liked the simplicity that matches the idea of the book that should be simple and important for all of us to learn.
